Some mornings, you sit by the river
Some nights, you sit by the window
not to enjoy the view,
but to remind yourself that the world is still moving.
Even if you feel it still.
You tell yourself, “I should feel lucky.”
You’re alive.
You have food, shelter, a future - technically.
But the truth?
You’re getting tired of building a future that always feels one step away.
You live in a world of maybe.
Maybe this degree will lead somewhere.
Maybe this job will be ‘it’.
Maybe my business takes off.
Maybe you’ll find someone who sees you, really sees you, and stays.
You’ve stopped asking for certainty.
Now you just want something, someone, to feel steady.
And sometimes, just sometimes,
you imagine what it would feel like
to have someone sit next to you in the silence.
Not to fix it.
Not to offer advice.
But just to say, “मैं हूं, तू कर” (“I'm here, you go ahead and do it.”)
That kind of support,
the quiet, grounding kind,
feels galaxies away when you’re holding yourself together in foreign time zones.
But still, you rise.
You do your laundry.
You submit that form.
You smile when your chest is heavy.
You keep showing up to a life that still feels unsure.
Maybe the point was never to control everything.
Maybe it was to feel everything
and stay strong in the process. Believe.
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
And even if ‘it’ has not arrived yet,
even if calm has not knocked on your door,
you are already enough.
So let the unknown stretch around you.
Let the winds of uncertainty blow through your windows.
Light one candle.
And trust that someday, maybe soon,
someone will sit beside you and say,
“I’ve been waiting for this moment, too.”

I truly loved the way you expressed it.
Like a coin has two sides, your writing always seems to explore both the positive and the negative. But what I find most beautiful is that your conclusion is always filled with hope and positivity ✨.
I am not experienced enough to comment on your writing but certainly it is a piece of art that would stay long in my journey ✨✨
